Island Runner 35

Island Runner Boats introduced the first truly high-performance, top-quality center-console fishing machine way back at the The Miami International Boat Show in 1981. From that day forward, the company has set a standard for mid-size, mid-range open sportfish boats. Starting with the original 29 all the way through to the new flagship of the fleet, the 35 Outboard, Island Runner designs and builds open-fisherman to provide years of trouble-free service in the harshest of marine environments. Whether you are searching for trophy swordfish out in the Gulf Stream, tournament winning smoker kings miles from shore, or cruising deep in the Abacos, you will find Island Runner Boats are fished exclusively by experienced anglers and seasoned island travelers.

For more than twenty years, knowledgeable boaters have known that an Island Runner will get you there and back safe and sound in almost any conditions. Moreover, an Island Runner will do it fast and economically! With every model, owners experience that perfect blend of excitement and peace of mind, and the 35 is definitely no exception. Its high-performance deep-V hull is dry and efficient, and its carefully premeditated deck layout is strategically designed for hardcore angling, recreational diving, and casual island hopping.

At Island Runner, they believe in listening to their customers, and the flagship of the fleet proves they have open ears. Not only does the 35 share the sound construction and great performance that all Island Runners are respected for, but this newly designed hull also provides the driest and smoothest ride yet.

As far as boat-building artistry, the Island Runner 35 is manufactured with a solid foam core construction using 100 percent hand-laid knitted fiberglass. Vacuum bag Core-Cell composite and lamination is what gives the Island Runner 35 its unsurpassed strength and dependability. The hull is completely wood-free and has a three-piece configuration with a full molded inner liner. Island Runner uses a Cook Isothalic fade and blister-resistant gel coat along with high quality vinylester resins to assure the longest life and most durable finish. All thru-hull fittings and every piece of hardware is either solid bronze or stainless steel, including the deluxe stainless steel steering wheel.

Each Island Runner 35 comes with an extensive list of standard amenities to satisfy even the most demanding angler. From combing bolsters, recessed forward grab rail, heavy-duty hydraulic steering, triple batteries with switches, wash-down systems, heavy-duty trim tabs, lockable rod storage, and dual anchor lockers, to the 55 gallon abovedeck livewell and 500 quarts of fishbox capacity, the Island Runner 35 is truly big-game ready. For those weekend excursions with family and friends, additional creature comforts and amenities are a necessity, and the 35 provides plenty of them. Not only is the exterior of the large center console smartly crafted to be the ultimate command center with plenty of dash space for a full array of flush-mounted electronics, but below, passengers will find more than six feet of headroom in a neatly finished interior, including sink, shower, and private marine head with holding tank.

The Island Runner 35 Outboard features an integral engine bracket placed at the optimum height for maximum stability and performance. The modified pad-V bottom configuration will get you there quickly and efficiently even in adverse weather conditions. Line up two or three 275s, and the 35 tops out at race car speeds! For greater efficiency, select twin Yanmar 315 horsepower diesels, and you have just combined major fuel economy with ruggedness to perform in any sea- burning less than 10 gallons per hour cruising at 40 knots. Pull back the throttles to a comfortable 34 knots, and distant travelers have over 1200 miles of range with fuel to spare. How's that for efficiency!

Putting quality construction and high performance characteristics aside for just a moment, the Island Runner 35 has something else going for it as well, looks! This boat features sleek lines with a mean entry and very few obstructions. Matching upholstery and powdercoated surfaces complete the rich appearance that any angler would be proud to call his own.

Valiantly standing behind their entire product line including the 21 Flats, 26 Outboard, 31 Outboard, and 36 Diesel, Island Runner Boats backs each 35 with a transferable ten-year warranty. Put an Island Runner 35 up against any other boat in her class, and you will find that few other manufacturers give you what she does.
